DLD is pleased to announce that its 10th annual fall conference, Bridging the Gap Between Research and Practice, will be held in San Diego 23 and 24 October 2009. We'll convene at the Catamaran Hotel on San Diego's Coronado Island, between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay.

DLD's president elect, is developing a set of sessions that will offer many opportunities to learn how to provide evidence-based instruction for students with learning disabilities. There will be sessions appropriate for teachers, coaches, supervisors, administrators, and others who are concerned about effective assessments and interventions.
